money talks

Americans are bad with money.

Lack of financial literacy cost the U.S. economy an estimated $436B in 2022. This lack of literacy is driving Americans into lifelong debt and holding the economy back.

Fluent in finance

By democratizing financial literacy via Duolingo, we create a way to introduce people to our services and our ethos.

This is a service available to all, regardless of who they bank with. Ally is an ally to all those who want to become more financially literate.
We remove traditional barriers so everyone gets access to these great things that we build, because we’re an ally for all things money.

The owl is our ally

Young people are very interested in learning. In fact, almost 60% of Duolingo users are under the age of 30. And a whopping 84% of that demographic depend on others for financial information.

By partnering with Duolingo and using gamification as a financial literacy tool, we create opportunity for the next generation to obtain economic mobility.
